Giant Brownie

  • 8 x 8 baking dish

  • parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 c. granulated sugar

  • 3/4 c. all-purpose flour

  • 2/3 c. cocoa powder, sifted

  • 1/2 c. powdered sugar, sifted

  • 1/2 c. dark chocolate chips

  • 3/4 tsp. salt

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 c. canola oil

  • 2 tbsp. water

  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

  • Cooking spray

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. 

  2. Lightly spray an 8 x 8 baking dish with cooking spray and line with parchment paper. 

  3. In a medium bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, chocolate chips, and salt. 

  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, oil, water, and vanilla. 

  5. Sprinkle the dry mixture into the wet mixture slowly, stirring until combined.

  6. Pour the mixture until the pan and use a spatula to smooth the top. 

  7. Bake for 40-48 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. 

  8. Cool completely before slicing.
