  • stirring spoon

  • mixing glass

  • strainer

  • serving glass (coupe)

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. rye whiskey

  • 1 oz. sweet vermouth

  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters

  • Brandied cherry or lemon twist for garnish

  • Ice

Directions

  1. Add ice, whiskey, vermouth, and bitters to a glass. Stir until liquid is chilled.

  2. Strain into a chilled serving glass.

  3. Garnish and serve.
