Pastrami Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. Thousand Island dressing

  • 8 slices rye bread

  • 16 oz. sauerkraut, canned and drained

  • 8 slices Swiss cheese

  • 8 slices pastrami

  • 1/4 c. margarine, softened

Directions

  1. Spread dressing on one side of each slice of bread, butter on the other half. 

  2. On half of the bread slices, place sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and pastrami on top of the dressing. 

  3. Place the empty slices of bread on top, dressing side down. 

  4. Heat a large skillet on medium-high heat. 

  5. Grill sandwiches until the bread is golden brown and cheese is melted - about 3-5 minutes per side.
