Pizza Toast

Equipment:

  • measuring cup

  • measuring spoon

  • baking sheet

Ingredients

  • 6 slices sandwich bread

  • 6 tbsp. pizza sauce

  • 1-1/2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 5 oz. mini pepperonis

  • Nonstick cooking spray

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. 

  2. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and place the bread slices on top, evenly spaced. 

  3. Bake the bread for about 5 minutes or until it starts to toast.

  4. Remove bread from oven and top with 1 tbsp. of sauce and 1/4 c. of shredded cheese. Place 16 pepperonis on top of the cheese. 

  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
