Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Press the pastry evenly into the bottom and sides of a 9" pie plate.
Mix together the golden syrup, cream, bread crumbs, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a bowl. You may be able to find the golden syrup in a grocery store, but you may have to make your own. You can find a recipe here.
Pour the filling into the pie crust.
Bake in the oven until filling is just set, about 35-40 minutes.
Allow to cool slightly before serving.
