Ingredients
3 c. egg noodles, dry
1 tbsp. butter
1 small onion, diced
2 ribs of celery, diced
2/3 c. frozen peas, thawed
5 oz. canned tuna, drained
10.5 oz. condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/3 c. milk
1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tsp. parsley, dried
Topping
1/2 c. panko bread crumbs
1 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tsp. dried parsley
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Combine topping ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
Place butter in a small pan and heat over medium heat. Cook the onion and celery in the butter until tender.
In a large bowl, combine noodles, butter mixture, peas, soup, milk, cheese, tuna, and parsley. Mix well.
Spread the tuna mixture into your casserole dish and top with the topping.
Bake 18-20 minutes or until bubbly.
