Levan Celadon
Multiple
Bloodmoon, son of the Bloodmoon kingpin Lyrian Celadon. His mother Lorissa had Rezaran blood. Levan and his father want to find a Necromancer capable of resurrecting Lorissa after her death twenty years ago. He was once betrothed but was betrayed by the woman he loved and vowed never to love again. After his mother died, he was tortured by Vogolan (likely at the instruction of his father) to make him more powerful with the hope that he could resurrect his mother. He became very powerful but cannot perform necromancy. He is skilled in healing, transmutation, wielding, enchanting, and compelling. He falls for Saffron and asks her to choose him, even after finding out she betrayed the Bloodmoons. When his father is killed, he makes a secret vow to destroy Saffron.
Lorissa Celadon
Timewielder
Bloodmoon who made the Bloodmoons the gang that they are today. Levan's mother and Lyrian's wife who was a descendant of the Rezaran family and had a small amount of time weaving power. She aimed to use the Bloodmoons to stage a coup against the current royal family and retake the crown but was killed before she made much progress. Her body is kept in a hidden ascen crypt in the Bloodmoon compound with the hope that she can be resurrected by a necromancer.
Deceased
Lyrian Celadon
Enchanter
Bloodmoon kingpin. Levan's father and Lorissa's husband. Runs the Bloodmoons after his wife's death, though he doesn't want to. He keeps his wife's body in an ascen crypt so that she may be able to be resurrected at some point. He is unpredictable and violent, especially when angry. He is present at the raid on the docks and kills three customs officers, beginning the chaos. He was killed by Aspar at the Havenwood raid.
Deceased
Mal Clay
Unknown
Cloakier who raised Saffron with his husband after Saffron's parents were killed. She calls them "uncle" but it's not clear if they're blood related. When Havenwood is raided, Lyrian calls for the death of one of her uncles but Saffron is not sure which one was killed.
Potentially deceased
Mellora Killoran
Necromancer
Saffron's mother and a Healer. She was killed by the Bloodmoons when Saffron was six as the Bloodmoons searched for a Necromancer, which they believed she was. They killed her husband Joran so that she was forced to bring him back, but she wasn't able to resurrect him and attacked the Bloodmoons to protect Saffron.
Deceased
Merin Clay
Unknown
Cloakier who raised Saffron with his husband after Saffron's parents were killed. She calls them "uncle" but it's not clear if they're blood related. When Havenwood is raided, Lyrian calls for the death of one of her uncles but Saffron is not sure which one was killed.
Miret Tomazin
Unknown
Bloodmoon who works primarily in the library. A stand-in father figure for Levan, since his own father was abusive. Miret helped Levan with his obsessive behaviors and worked to make Levan more powerful - to the point that he can break curses that were placed on him even without a wand.
Nalezen Zares
Necromancer
Necromancer and serial killer, she lures people home from the bars so that she can kill them and "practice" her necromancy. She is captured by the Bloodmoons but insists that Lorissa has been dead for too long and cannot be brought back. She is freed by Saffron after Tiernan dies so that Nalezen can resurrect him, but she fights Saffron off and escapes without making Tiernan Risen. She loses a hand doing so.
Neatras
Unknown
Roulette dealer that warns Saffron away from the table. His daughter owed too much to the Bloodmoons, so she was killed and her eye was made into a roulette ball for Neatras to use as he worked off her debts. Saffron is forced to kill him as part of her induction into the Bloodmoons, though Saffron and Levan do eventually release his daughter's eye from service.
Deceased
Nissa Naszi
Wielder
Half-Eqoran (potentially part dragon) who is a part of Saffron's cohort at the Silvercloak Academy. A powerful Wielder who had a short romance with Saffron. She is the first person to find out that Saffron is undercover and helps Saffron get intel from the Silvercloaks - including information on Nalezen Zares and a tracking spell. She is hurt in the raid on the docks and survives because of Levan's quick ministrations, but has been in a coma since.
Porrol Vogolan
Brewer
Bloodmoon and Brewer who is a staunch ally of Lyrian who branded and tortured Levan, possibly under Lyrian's orders. He is the first in the Bloodmoons to realize that Saffron is immune to magic and Saffron kills him for it, turning his body to stone and scattering the stones throughout the city. His death causes Lyrian to spiral and he makes a vow to find out who killed Vogolan, leading to him nearly killing Levan.
Deceased
Saffron Killoran
Timeweaver
Timeweaver who is now bonded to Rasso. She is immune to magic (for the most part) and lied her way into the Silvercloak Academy to enact vengeance against the Bloodmoons. When her secret immunity is discovered, Captain Aspar asks her to go undercover in the Bloodmoons, which she does. She gives them information leading to the failed raid on the docks and the disastrous raid on Havenwood, leading to the death of Aspar and Lyrian. She discovers that she is a Timeweaver and reverses time several times. She now believes that if she has enough ascen, she can rewind time back to before her parents were killed, possibly saving them. She is in love with Levan, though she has recently discovered how powerful he is and killed him before then reversing time and restoring him to life.
Sebran Aduran
Brewer
Brewer and member of Saffron's cohort at the Silvercloak Academy. He could also be a Compeller.
Segal
Unknown
Bloodmoon. One of the Bloodmoons who killed Saffron's parents. High up in the organization, he is often near Lyrian and on important tasks. When capturing Nalezen Zares, Segal is killed and resurrected. During the Havenwood raid, he realizes that his magic will never regenerate because he is unable to feel anything - pleasure and pain included.
Risen
Tenebo Jabat
Unknown
Silvercloak detective who helped to put Auria's body back together after she was turned to stone and her body shattered.
Tiernan Flane
Healer
Healter and member of Saffron's cohort at the Silvercloak Academy. He is the son of a violent, cruel man who is a member of the King's Cabinet. He becomes betrothed to Auria, but is compelled by Levan to work for the Bloodmoons and to kill himself if he is discovered. When Saffron finds out he is the mole and she asks him about it, he immediately kills himself and Saffron puts his body in Lorissa's crypt.
